Did I hear that???

Christian is speaking and quite often screaming Mama or Dada! He started this a few weeks ago and we were not sure if he was babbling or actually talking! I know now that he is...everywhere I go he follows me and pulls on my leg saying, mama, mama, mama! No peace for me anymore!

Father's Day

Father's Day was a beautiful one here in Birmingham. We started the day with a card and a present waiting for daddy when he decided to awaken from his slumber! We then packed up and headed off to church where Christian decided to take a short nap. After church we had lunch at McCalister's Deli and Christian was a big boy and had a grilled cheese sandwich! The rest of the afternoon was lazy and Christian napped again...this time for almost three hours! Brian played on his Wii video game and I did chores around the house!

After Christian woke up, we went over to my parents house to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and have dinner! Since Christian is mobile and pulling up on everything a new place means exploring time and picture time for me...My dad grows Tomato plants every summer and Christian discovered them. He thought he would help with the picking and eating of a ripe one! When the outdoor exploring was through, we went in the house to see what we could possibly get into on the inside!

Christian decided he wanted to go back outside once inside and could not quite figure it out! We stayed in and watched Tiger Woods loose the U.S. Open, but all and all it was a great day!

WOW....LOOK AT ME!!!!

Have you ever seem someone so proud of his accomplishments more than his mommy? I am in awe of how quickly they change and learn everyday! I am ecstatic at this monumental milestone, but apprehensive in the same sentence! Now come all the bumps on his noggin as he ventures out for more!!! Could walking be in his future soon???

He enjoys pulling up on everything that is nailed to the ground...or not??? He enjoys torturing his nanny's son T.J. and is always trying to play regardless if T.J. is interested or not! Sorry T.J....manners have not been learned yet!

Nene and Me!

I was very sad to see my Nene go when she left to go back home to Peoria! I know she was here to see my new cousin, but I was soooo glad she came and spent some play time with me! I love going to the park to swing and go down the slide! The day before Nene left she came over and took me there! I was terribly tired and so thirsty after our trip that she gave me some water to drink and Watermelon to eat when we got home! We went to the park in my new ride....this great golf cart my daddy bought me!

Don't Nene and I look stylish? I miss her already!
