I want to see the GEE???

I know most of you are probably wondering what are GEE? Well, they are what Christian calls Geese. We have two geese that live on the lake in front of our house and Christian is OBSESSED with them! Seriously, we have to look out the window immediately upon waking in the morning to look for them. Every afternoon and more than once we have to go out and feed them bread. We feed them so much that they actually know us when we walk outside and come right over to visit. They get quite mad if we run out of bread and hiss at us! Christian does not understand that they can be mean and has come within hands reach of these fellows. I think he would chase them into the lake if he could walk on water. It is quite cute how interested he is in them. I took some pictures of him feeding the geese. His throws are not quite far enough to reach them so I have to assist. These might be his new best friends! Sorry, Lynn I do not know if you will have a hunting partner on your hand anytime soon. He loves his Gee and I do not know if he would want to hurt them much less eat them!!!

Are you Kidding me?????

I apologize for not posting in awhile, but the nausea and this horrific sinus infection that will not go away have been kicking my ass!!! Literally, I feel as though a mac truck has run over me not once, not twice, but a million times! Lethargy has set in and I can not even chase my crazy son around the room right now! Luckily my computer is a lap top and I can lay here and type! There are a few funny things that I have been wanting to share about Christian on the blog and just have not felt like it. I am keeping them stored in my memory until I write them down here!

Here is the first story and believe me if you have a delicate stomach for any reason what so ever then do not read any further!!! Everybody knows that we have two dogs...my dear crazy black lab "Jetta" and my destructive sweet golden retriever "Foster". Christian thinks these guys are two of his best friends and he is constantly playing and teasing them with something...a toy, food and in this case something out of his diaper!#@&* Yep, you read that right and here is the story.

Just another night for Christian and I and we had just finished dinner. I feed the dogs in another room because Christian will not stay out of their bowls and moves them around while they are trying to eat! What a pain in the butt he is to those poor dogs. Anyhow, I took him in the living room and he started to play. All of the sudden there he was ducked down and squatting and grunting like crazy in the corner! He tries to hide now a days when going to the bathroom. Unlike his father who would rather share this with the world and laugh about it...I am glad he has not picked this up!!! Since I have had a sinus infection for weeks now I can not smell a thing. I am thankful for this because with my morning sickness and acute sense of smell I probably would have puked all over my child changing his diaper! I quickly changed his diaper and realized why he had been grunting so hard. I have to be graphic to finish this story, so I apologize ahead of time. I opened his diaper to find two little turds and that was it! I cleaned him up and off he went to continue his play. He was gated in the living room so there was not much he could get into. I decided that I would sit on the couch for a minute and watch the 6:00 news. Christian quickly came over and wanted to throw his diaper in the trash can. Throwing his diaper away is something he loves to do. I was hesitant for a moment because I did not have it wrapped in a little bag (because it was a stinky)! Well, I gave it to him anyway because it was closed up and sealed pretty good. I continued watching the news and he was at the gate yelling to the dogs. things got quite for a moment and I thought to myself what is he into??? I looked over at the gate and realized there were wet wipes thrown all over the floor! Uh Oh....what was I about discover??? I jumped off the couch and ran over to the gate to only find my child holding his turd in his hand through the gate trying to feed it to the dogs! He was laughing and teasing the dogs trying to feed them this little treat he had found in his diaper!!! I grabbed him and shook his hand and immediately stuck my finger in his mouth. There had been two turds where was the second one? Had he ate it or had he been successful in feeding this treat to one of our dogs??? Oh my goodness....I did not know if I should laugh or throw up! Well, after some searching I had both specimens back in the diaper and in the trash! Everybody's hands were washed and the dogs had not been fed anything other than their dinner! What a night in the Banta household!
