Christmas 2013

Our children are definitely those kids who take advantage of sleeping in when they don’t have school. The luxury is that I don’t get woken up at 5:00am on Christmas morning…yet! Around 7:00am our kids awoke and I could hear excitement in their voices as they came down stairs. I immediately jumped out of bed and grabbed my camera. I love catching the looks of surprise when they see their gifts. I actually videoed it, so you won’t see it on the blog. Sorry.

We recently moved and our Christmas tree is hidden a little bit by our couch. I am guessing this is the reason Santa put his gifts in front of the fireplace and on the table. They were quickly confused as to why there were no presents in front of the tree. With a little help they were quickly found. It took them a few minutes to realize what Santa had truly left them, which was sooo funny.

After opening family gifts and breakfast, we headed over to the Mizerany’s for Christmas round two! The kids love spending time with their cousins. We had a great dinner and it was a fun time by all.

Christmas Eve 2013

After church we had a wonderful dinner at Fleming’s with the Murphy’s and Banta’s. A wonderful night that had to be cut short because Santa had lots to do and the kids needed to go to bed.

Christmas 2013

It is hard to believe that almost two years have past and I have not written on this blog. However, with three kiddos it gets tough to have a moment. So, I am following the lead of some other friends I know who just mostly post pictures. After all, that is the best part.

This Christmas was filled with lots of activities. Three of everything plus after school activities equals busy, busy, busy! All the while having walking pneumonia running rampant in our house! Oh did I mention we just moved into a new house!

Here are some pictures of the month of December with the Bantas!

Gingerbread House
Do I eat it or not?
