Father's Day

Father's Day was a beautiful one here in Birmingham. We started the day with a card and a present waiting for daddy when he decided to awaken from his slumber! We then packed up and headed off to church where Christian decided to take a short nap. After church we had lunch at McCalister's Deli and Christian was a big boy and had a grilled cheese sandwich! The rest of the afternoon was lazy and Christian napped again...this time for almost three hours! Brian played on his Wii video game and I did chores around the house!

After Christian woke up, we went over to my parents house to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and have dinner! Since Christian is mobile and pulling up on everything a new place means exploring time and picture time for me...My dad grows Tomato plants every summer and Christian discovered them. He thought he would help with the picking and eating of a ripe one! When the outdoor exploring was through, we went in the house to see what we could possibly get into on the inside!

Christian decided he wanted to go back outside once inside and could not quite figure it out! We stayed in and watched Tiger Woods loose the U.S. Open, but all and all it was a great day!
