T-ball 2012

This past Saturday was the last t-ball game of the season. Brian really loves coaching the kids teams and hates to see it end. He really does an amazing job in making it a lot of fun for the kids. It seems to be one of the only teams that is very organized. All of the kids get a long well and play great together. Many of the kids on our team are best friends, which always make games and practices fun. This season, Brian really worked on building the kids skills. Next year they will be in coaches pitch baseball and have to truly play the game. They learned to throw always to first base, field balls, throw balls and hit with accuracy. Each kid has improved over the season. Elijah and Delaney are two of Christian's best friends and both of them were on the team. Delaney was the only girl on the team and she was decked out in pink. A pink helmet, pink bet and even pink shoelaces on her cleats. Christian loves to play and I think the thing he most improved on was his fielding of the ball. He would really go after it and his best position was second base. He really has a good eye for the ball coming his direction. I love watching him and the team. I am not one of those crazy moms you see at the ballpark, but deep down I want him to be the best...of course I am competitive.:) The last game was great and as the team mom I organized an end of the season party. We give the kids trophies and make a big deal of the season. Brian gives a speech to each kid and talks about them and how they improved over the season. To see their sweet faces light up when they get their trophies is just absolutely adorable. It is so special that Brian get to be a part of this for Christian. The party was at a park by the ball field. We had pizza, cake and ice cream. The kids played Nd received their trophies. I also, had a little something special for all the coaches that they did not know about. They did a great job and everyone wanted to tell them thank you!!! Great job again and thanks for coaching our baby boy!!!

Going for the ball!
